We are a non-profit volunteer run organization located in Thunder Bay Ontario, Canada. Named for a homeless injured dog rescued from City of Thunder Bay Animal Services the day she was to be euthanized, in August 2005, New Hope Rescue (NHR) is committed to providing quality care for rescued animals and for adopting them into permanent loving homes. |

Daisy Needs To Find A Good Home Daisy was born on New Year's Day, 2008. She is a lovely mix of Sheepdog and Terrier. Her coat is long and rough, with light and dark blonde colouring. She weighs 50 pounds, is spayed, has all her shots, and is micro chipped. She is house trained, does not chew furniture, and very rrely barks. Daisy is very affectionate and friendly with people. She loves being outside in the yard, and going for walks. Daisy walks pretty well on a leash, but needs a bit more socialization when meeting other dogs, as she gets very excited. She is obedient and a quick learner though, so a bit of time, patience, and some treats should do the trick. Daisy would make a lovely pet for a family with no other dogs. We are not sure if she likes cats as her current owner does not have one.
